Track 1 : Nursing
Track 2 : Nursing Education
Caregiving for patients and offering medical support to doctors and other healthcare professionals are both important aspects of the very rewarding career of nursing. Nurses can be found working in a range of places, such as clinics, nursing homes, schools, and hospitals. People normally need to finish a nursing education program, which might be a certificate, associate degree, or bachelor's degree programmed, in order to become nurses. These courses equip students with the information and abilities needed to offer patients the most fundamental medical support and care.
Track 3 : Nursing HealthCare
The goal of nursing as a career in health care is to help people, families, and communities achieve, maintain, or regain optimal health and quality of life. Nurses differ from other healthcare professionals in terms of their patient care philosophy, level of training, and job duties. Nurses have varied levels of prescription power and work in a range of specialties. The community's impression of nurses as carers has been shaped by the fact that many nurses deliver care within the parameters of physicians' practices. As nurse education moves towards advanced and specialty identifications, many traditional tactics and provider roles are changing. The nurses who are in charge of a patient's continued care want to evaluate their health and help them recover completely.
Track 4 : Nursing Informatics
As a science of the twenty-first century, nursing informatics has great promise for enhancing the effectiveness, safety, and efficacy of healthcare. A great opportunity for nursing personnel to fully utilize ordered and well-managed data is provided by nursing informatics.
Nursing informatics, used to manage and convey data, information, knowledge, and insight, blends nursing science, computing, and knowledge. Informatics has gradually assimilated into our job as a result of rapidly evolving technology discoveries. Technology is being increasingly incorporated into regular practice by healthcare institutions. While achieving the objective of turning data into knowledge that is valuable, security and patient privacy must be upheld. We can only provide better patient care by integrating informatics and evidence-based practice.
Track 5 : Nursing Research
Academic nurses have built their careers around research, which has helped to legitimize nursing as a profession and changed schooling to better reflect a research background. Only a small portion of nurses use research as a basis for practice, despite the fact that it has been on the agenda for a while and that well-known organization are involved. Because of this, Evidence-Based Nursing will be very beneficial, and its focus on practitioners is a big step in the right direction. Qualitative nursing research concentrates on the real-world experiences of nurses and patients. An overarching and helpful classification divides qualitative methods into five groups: ethnography, story, phenomenology, grounded theory, and case study.
Track 6 : Midwifery and Women Health
As a field of medicine, midwifery focuses on women's sexual and reproductive health at all stages of life, including pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period (including new-born care). Typically, mothers who wanted to become midwives did so after seeing their neighbors’ or relatives' births. The practice of midwifery is deeply ingrained in every culture, and national norms and educational requirements for midwives differ.
Track 7 : Clinical Nursing
A highly skilled nursing leader who specializes in one area of practice is known as a clinical nurse, also known as a clinical nurse specialist. Clinical nurses support other nurses and promote innovation in healthcare within their organizations and communities. Clinical nurse specialists may be able to issue test orders, carry out some diagnostic procedures, provide simple treatments, and issue prescriptions in some regions. They might also give counsel and support to a team of nurses. They frequently offer their input to the creation of organizational practices modifications and plans to make sure the team follows best practices and delivers care that is supported by the latest research. CNSs are taught to identify flaws or holes in the delivery of healthcare services. They could offer advice, communicate with patients and their families, follow up on therapy, design and carry out treatments, and assess.
Track 8 : Rehabilitation Nursing
The support of rehabilitation nurses helps patients with long-term physical disabilities or chronic diseases get over their limitations and reach their full potential. In order to enable the patient lead as independent a lifestyle as possible, these nurses collaborate with patients and their families to create recovery programs and set short- and long-term goals.
Track 9 : Psychiatric & Mental Health Nursing
The field of nursing known as paediatric nursing is dedicated to the health and medical needs of children from infancy through puberty. This is a crucial issue because children's health is different from adults' due to the growth and development that takes place during childhood. To offer the finest medical care possible for children, paediatric nurses typically collaborate with other medical specialists in multidisciplinary teams. They are crucial in monitoring the health of young patients and providing care and support during their treatments.
Track 10 : Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women’s Health Nursing
Maternal Healthcare:
Gynecology nursing deals with conditions affecting the reproductive organs, such as the uterus, fallopian tubes, cervix, ovaries, and vagina, from puberty to menopause and beyond. A gynecology nurse can assist with these problems as well because the bowel, bladder, and urine systems are all connected to the female reproductive system. Additionally, GNs provide surgical treatment for conditions like yeast and bacterial infections, painful erections, irregular and unpleasant menstruation, and other menopause-related conditions.
Obstetrics Nursing:
Obstetrical nurses offer prenatal care, prenatal testing, care for pregnant patients who have issues during labor and delivery, and postpartum care. To treat pregnant patients, obstetrical nurses work with obstetricians, midwives, and other nurse practitioners. Obstetrical nurses work in the surgical unit and provide post-operative care, heart monitoring, stress test evaluations, vascular monitoring, and health assessments. They are skilled in continuous intravenous medication administration, electronic fetal monitoring, no stress diagnostics, and neonatal resuscitation.
Track 11 : Emergency and Ambulatory Care Nursing
The nursing care provided to patients who are treated as outpatients—that is, those who do not need to spend the night in the hospital—is known as ambulatory care. Ambulatory care refers to the clinical, organizational, and professional activities performed by registered nurses with and for individuals, groups, and communities who wish to enhance their health or seek treatment for a health issue. In order to provide emergency care outside of a hospital's traditional bed base, physicians developed ambulatory emergency care (AEC). AEC can be administered in a clinic setting, relieving pressure on beds and ensuring that a small number of patients receive prompt care, even during times of high bed occupancy.
Track 12 : Geriatric Nursing
The care of the elderly is the main focus of this area of nursing, which also promotes healthy ageing and deals with the prevention, detection, and treatment of physiological, pathological, psychological, economic, and sociological problems. The needs of the aged in terms of physical and mental health are identified and treated by geriatric nurses. In order to maintain independence and activity for as long as possible, they protect their patients' health and modify their mental and physical capacities. Geriatric nurses assist seniors in maintaining their health by preventing and treating age-related illnesses and disabilities. It involves providing senior adults with care in their homes, hospitals, or other settings such as nursing homes, mental health centers, and so forth.
Track 13 : Medical Surging Nursing
Preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care are the main areas of concentration for surgical nurses. There are many different kinds of surgical nurses, and the field of surgical nursing is challenging. A patient in the pre-operative care unit receives assistance from a surgical nurse in getting psychologically and physically ready for surgery. The patient's anxieties about the upcoming surgery and the recuperation process are allayed by the surgical nurses as they explain the procedure to the patient. They also help with sterilising and labelling the surgical site, providing medications, and keeping an eye on the patient's vital signs.
Track 14 : Trauma, Intensive and critical care Nursing
To provide superior care to critically ill patients, specialised nurses in critical and intensive care nursing are encouraged. The primary goal of intensive treatment nursing is to provide the highest quality of care for seriously ill or unstable patients who have undergone major surgery, have sustained serious injuries, or have life-threatening illnesses. These medical professionals frequently provide treatment for seriously ill patients who need endotracheal intubation, titratable vasoactive intravenous medication, or mechanical ventilation.
Track 15 : Continuing Nursing Education
nurses' continuing education not only keeps nurses up to date on the most recent developments in care and treatment, but also gives nurses the chance to study other nursing specialties like geriatrics, case management, home health or hospice, wound care, pain management, and a variety of other niches.
Track 16 : Men in Nursing
The nursing profession is seeing an increase in male entry. As more healthcare professionals and patients become aware of the various advantages male-identifying nurses may bring, there is a desire for more men to work as nurses. For instance, having more nurses who identify as men can help male patients feel more included. The practices and professional development of male nurses still needed to be much improved. In recent years, male nurses have been recognized for their outstanding contributions to the provision of healthcare.
Track 17 : Anesthesia and Peri Anesthesia Nursing
A qualified nurse who administers anesthetics during surgery or other medical procedures is known as an anesthetist. Depending on the local healthcare system, they could be involved not just during the procedure but also before and after anesthesia.
Peri anesthesia: The management of patients who are receiving or recovering from anesthesia is the main emphasis of the area of peri anesthesia nursing. A vast range of specialized practice areas, as well as a diversity of practice settings and skills, are all included in peri anesthesia nursing. They deal with the unpleasant symptoms that patients could experience after waking up from anesthesia, such as breathing, nausea, and disorientation. In addition to monitoring blood pressure, body temperature, heart rate, lung function, and body fluid balance for the safety and comfort of patients, they are trained in patient medical care.
Track 18 : Role of Nurses in Disease Control
The value of the nurse cannot be overstated. In addition to giving life-saving care to patients in need, nurses also act as change agents by promoting patient rights and promoting reforms to the healthcare system. In the medical field, nurses are the first to arrive on the scene. They are in an excellent position to quickly identify communicable and harmful diseases. During a disease outbreak, nurses usually go on with their regular shifts in public and community health clinics. However, they do so to stop the spread of disease and to safeguard both their own and their patients' health.
Track 19 : Public Health and Safety
Public health nursing improves and safeguards population health by utilizing knowledge from the nursing, social, and public health sciences. To promote health and prevent disease across entire communities is the main objective of public health nursing.
In order to satisfy identified needs, a plan for intervention is developed in collaboration with the community that takes into account the variety of activities that contribute to health, the range of resources that are available, and the prevention of sickness, injury, disability, or early death.
In order to identify families and people who would benefit from health promotion or who are at risk of disease, injury, disability, or early death, the health care needs of a population are analyzed.
The process's findings serve as a guide and are used to influence current care delivery, the utilization of health resources, and the creation of local, regional, state, and federal health strategies and research aimed at promoting health and preventing diseases.
Track 20 : Covid 19 and Nurses
In the COVID-19 outbreak response, nurses perform key roles and responsibilities, including early detection and planning for the expanding threat, managing staffing concerns, and assuring nurses' well-being. Physical separation techniques that do not jeopardize patient care or continued nurse education are also required. By acting quickly and coordinating efforts, the risk of the virus spreading inside the healthcare industry can be minimized. Nurses must have confidence in the hospital's ability to assist them because they provide patient care on the front lines.
